The Second Great War:
The Second Year
In December 1916, U.S. president Woodrow Wilson negotiated an end to the Great War. Twenty-four years later, Wilson’s Peace collapsed as the Allies (initially France, Russia, Italy) launched a war of aggression against the Central Powers (initially Imperial Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Kingdom of Poland).
This is the alternative history background for our Second Great War at Sea games and expansions. We started telling the story in The Second Great War; The Second Year picks up where that book left off.
The action gets more heated, as the United States joins the fray and the Atlantic naval war becomes central to the outcome of the Second Great War. Don’t just play the game – play the story.
Note: You don’t need this book to play any of the Second Great War at Sea games, but if you want to truly immerse yourself, then yeah, you kinda do need it.
