A Panzer Grenadier Story
In the summer of 1942, Italian dictator Benito Mussolini increased his country’s commitment on the Eastern Front from three divisions to ten. The Armata Italiana in Russia (ARMIR), also known as the Italian Eighth Army, would fight through the rest of the year on the northern flank of the German advance on Stalingrad. And in the Soviet Operation Little Saturn launched in December 1942, the Italian divisions would be crushed, with only one of them surviving intact.

La Campagna Invernale tells the story of this campaign in Panzer Grenadier format: 36 scenarios from the battles of the ARMIR in 1942 and 1943, told in our narrative format with chapters that place the scenarios in the story and battle games that link the scenarios together.

La Campagna Invernale isn’t a complete game: you’ll need La Campagna in Russia, Fire in the Steppe and Burning Tigers to enjoy all of the scenarios.
