The new third edition rules for these two games include a set of long-awaited improvements; the games play more smoothly, some of the more awkward "gamey" tactics have been eliminated, and vague areas clarified. It was a massive effort, and now it's ready for play.

The Second World War rules are used in Great Pacific War and in the combined Great Pacific War/Third Reich game. Third Reich has its own rulebook, but everything that's included in that one is also present in the Second World War rulebook.

You can also order the Third Edition Package for each game. They're free with any order of a game that's currently in stock. Each package includes game rules, updated scenario book and updated player aid cards.
