Great War at Sea: Jutland is our best-selling wargame ever. The new Second Edition is a complete revision, with a new scenario book, new rules book, and new full-color play aids.

With so many copies out there, we want everyone who has one to have the chance to experience the new Second Edition: it’s a completely new game (using the old map and pieces): a new scenario book with 22 scenarios, none of which were in the first edition, all focused tightly on the Battle of Jutland. A new series rulebook (with charts), the first time we’ve revised the rules in almost 30 years.

The Upgrade Set turns the old boxed edition of Jutland into the new, modern version. You get the Second Edition rules, complete with charts, which distill three decades of feedback and experience into a smooth set that’s even easier to play.

The Upgrade Set is not a complete game: there are no pieces, no maps. This updates an old copy of the boxed edition. It’s a download, offered through our friends at Wargame Vault (Gold Club members can order a printed, hardcopy version).
